Adapter plate for connecting BMW M57 306D1 / M57N 306D2 E46 to BMW ZF 8HP automatic transmission.

The kit includes:

-tranmission adapter made of AW7075-T651 aluminum alloy, surpassing the strength of S355 and C45 steel (1.0503). Adapter thickenes 15mm

-Mounting bolts for adapter, and gearbox.

Requirement parts not included in kit:

- OEM BMW flexplate from engine N57, N57N BMW OEM 11228506670

- OEM flywhell bolts 8 pcs BMW OEM 11227797966

- OEM 8HP torque converter bolts 6 pcs BMW OEM 24407561393

Hi. I plan on doing an 8hp45 swap into my e39 m57. Will the Adapter work with an N20 8HP45 gearbox?

No those adapter not working with those transmission. but N20 or N26 are not good chouce for diesel engine. Those tranmission are typical gasoline version. For diesel I recomended 8HP45 from N47 or B47 engine example like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/366476966138
